What are Pausa Events?

Pausa Events are themed Pilates classes and workshops in Brighton and Saltdean, designed for women in midlife and menopause who want uplifting, community-driven movement.

 

Our popular 80s Pilates Nights mix classic Pilates moves with nostalgic tunes for a workout that’s as fun as it is effective.
 

Our workshops create an intimate and relaxed space where you can learn, unwind and practice in a no pressure environment.

Do I need to be experienced in Pilates to join?

Not at all! Our events are suitable for all levels - whether you’re a beginner or already love Pilates. Every move is adapted to suit your body, so you can join in confidently.

What should I wear/bring?

Wear comfortable workout clothes you can move in - leggings, joggers, or gym gear work perfectly. There’s no dress code, but 80s Pilates fans often bring leg warmers for a little extra fun!

Will there be high-intensity moves?

No - our menopause-friendly Pilates events focus on strength, mobility, and joy, not punishment. You’ll feel worked but never worn down, with plenty of options for your comfort level.

Do you offer discounts?

We offer discounts to our regular Pausa members, and often thrown in little treats like our 80's Pausa vests. Speak to us about becoming a member.
